Internationally renowned, Manchester-based media and textile artist Andrea Zapp revealed her first luxury womenswear collection.

Working with scenes and photography from her global travels, Zapp has used urban views, rural panoramas, miniature scenarios and objects of culture and curiosity to create a visual portfolio which forms the essence of each stunning hand-made silk dress.

For this exhibition, Zapp designed three exclusive limited edition dresses, using photographs of objects from the gallery’s decorative arts collection in striking new pattern narratives.

Each dress also features in a unique online map interface that enables you to view the original worldwide location and background story for each photographic artwork via its GPS coordinates.
