Collectie 02(5): 25 Years Modemuseum Hasselt

A selection of masterpieces from the museum collection offers visitors a glimpse of the changing spirit of the time. In addition to the rare gems, never-before-seen pieces also receive the necessary attention. They illustrate how certain items of clothing and accessories evolved from ‘must-have items’ into memories of times gone by. Techniques and materials that colored fashion over the centuries illustrate how fashion reinvents itself.

MMH thus highlights the composition of its collection and the importance of collecting clothing for reading history (1750 – 2014).
