Dress up for Opera

The Teatro Real exhibits a selection of costumes and wigs used in some of its most beautiful productions, most of which have been produced in the tailoring and characterization workshops of the theater. 

Characters from operas are evoked such as L’incoronazione di Poppea by Monteverdi, Le nozze di Figaro by Mozart, La Traviata by Verdi, La bohème by Puccini or La vida breve by Manuel de Falla, reinforced by symbolic props elements that suggest the magic of the lyrical theater.
