Fashion in Winston-Salem

We are excited to present to you Winston Salem’s very first fashion week. Saturday, September, 19 and Sunday, September 20, you will have the chance to experience fashion brought to you by local designers, artists, and boutique owners. Fueled by students and interns fashion week is a platform for local fashion pacesetters to grow and gain exposure through the runway.  Not only will various designers and boutiques showcase their latest threads and trends but it is also meant to merge the fashion and arts community through events taking place during WS Fashion Week.

We are excited to take fashion to another level in Winston Salem but we are also proud to say that we support Team Project “UP, “ a local agency that aims to make positive life changes for homeless women and women with children living in shelters. We will be donating a portion of the proceeds to their organization, in support of their mission, which is making initial investments to launch homeless women living in shelters into self-sufficiency and empowerment.

Artists include designers participating in Winston-Salem Fashion Week, and visitors to the exhibition saw fashion, design, and jewelry, plus had access to behind-the-scenes insight into how fashion is made. Objects included two-dimensional sketches, drawings, and photographs of planned or existing fashion objects and wearable art.
