Grace De Monaco: Princess in Dior
On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the birth of Princess Grace of Monaco, eternal icon elegance and beauty, the Christian Dior Museum highlights his personality and style. meeting with Prince Rainier III, in 1955, Grace Kelly, rising star of Hollywood cinema, shows a particular taste for creations from Maison Dior. She will even befriend Marc Bohan, Artistic Director of Christian Dior from 1960. In 1967, the princess agreed to be godmother of the Baby Dior label and inaugurates the first shop. With an exceptional set of 85 Haute Couture dresses from the wardrobe of the princess and exceptionally on loan from the Prince’s Palace, completed with a selection of portraits, photographs, film extracts, sketches, bottles of perfumes, matches, the exhibition celebrates the style unforgettable, signed Dior, by Grace of Monaco.
