A gallery view showing two sections entitled '2012' and '2016' in large red lettering on black walls. In '2016', are three white mannequins and portrait photos.
Three white nude mannequins sit in a display case wearing lit headphones, bracelets and necklaces. Portrait photos of a white woman and man sit above the mannequin with smaller photographs of mouths.

The results of an innovative project to radically re-think the future of hearing, Hearwear displayed designs and prototypes by some of the UK’s best designers, including Ross Lovegrove, Priestman Goode, Industrial Facility and IDEO. The display showed how fashionably designed ‘hearwear’ can be as desirable and accessible as ‘eyewear’, and will change the way people think about hearing.
