Henrik Vibskov: The Exhibition

The Danish designer and artist Henrik Vibskov has spent more than 25 years shaping and developing his own distinctive and captivating universe, in which music, scenography, costumes, installations and fashion intersect and inspire one another in surprising ways. This September, Vibskov takes over Designmuseum Danmark with a major, immersive exhibition that invites visitors on an experience-rich journey through the designer’s universe.

Henrik Vibskov’s distinctive way of working is at the heart of this major, visionary and immersive special exhibition. Discover a wealth of different works and experiences – from miniature models of installations to 44 display cases containing objects, prototypes and works from Vibskov’s studio, as well as large-scale installations that visitors can move through. The exhibition reveals how Vibskov’s approach to play, improvisation and collaboration creates space for an endless flow of creativity. It is a journey into a sprawling, ever-branching universe – mysterious, humorous, surprising and moving. A universe where mistakes are gold, and beauty emerges from chaos.
