From 21 April 2018, the Centraal Museum in Utrecht presents Jan Taminiau: Reflections, a major exhibition about the work of Jan Taminiau.

Dozens of masterpieces show the richness and depth of Taminiau’s work. The audience is taken into the world of research, memories, inspiration, experiment and craftsmanship of one of the most important and leading fashion designers in the Netherlands.

John Taminau
Jan Taminiau (1975 Goirle) is known for his use of traditional handicraft & production techniques, unique original materials and fabric treatments, in addition to his love for aesthetics. Partly because of this, he received the Grand Seigneur in 2014, the most important Dutch fashion award. Taminiau combines the classical and feminine with the conceptual and experimental. As a result, shortly after founding his label JANTAMINIAU in 2004, he became loved by clients all over the world.
