La Senyora de les Muntanyes (The Lady of the Mountains)

Exhibition of the Museum’s Jewel of the Year 2010, as part of the celebrations of International Museum Day. It is a funerary paraphernalia from the Cova de Montanissell (Sallent – Coll de Nargó, Alt Urgell), formed by a small but significant set of ornamental elements attributed to two women buried together with six other individuals at the time of the medium bronze. After this exhibition, the Montanissell complex was deposited in the Museum of Archeology of Catalonia (MAC).
