Marco Correa: National Identity

Start Date 09 April 2015
Venue Museo de la Moda
Location Santiago, Chile

Marco Correa’s exhibition included 20 dresses representing his extensive work, as well as objects of the time and visual material from the Fashion Museum and the UC School of Theater. In the 1960s, he was considered the first Chilean designer to turn to Latin America, as part of the cultural and political current of the time. He set his interest in roots, unlike most of the fashion exponents who looked to Europe.
