Marga Weimans – Fashion House

First major retrospective of fashion designer Marga Weimans (1970). Weimans was the first Dutch couturier to graduate from the prestigious fashion programme at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. In her work she addresses a wide variety of themes concerning identity, technology, and beauty. Sources of inspiration are, among others, her Surinamese background and living in a major city as Rotterdam, as well as innovative techniques and materials.
