Since 2011, China National Silk Museum has collected Chinese modern fabrics and costumes, in an attempt to “Collect today for tomorrow.” Some of the newest collections of these items will be exhibited at the end of the each year, along with a professional forum. Under the immense help of designers, companies, universities, related associations, and industry bases, the Fashion Retrospective of 2011 and 2012 were both held successfully. The collection holds about 2,000 pieces, most of which are Golden Award winners, top threepieces of the Annual Hempel Award, outstanding graduating works, fabrics from outstanding brands, etc.

“Chinese Dream” set sail in the year of 2013, with full passion into various creative fields of China, as well as the world of fashion. Capturing attention around the world, Chinese fashion, with its excellent designers and companies, is finding its voice. Creation and re-creation refer to the new opportunities and new delightfulness of the changing culture.
