Each year, the Province of Hainaut rewards an artisan for the quality of his work. In addition to a financial reward, the Crafts Prize offers the winner the organization of an individual exhibition the following year.

In 2019, the milliner Nicole Piette won first prize for the quality and originality of her hats.

Marie Agnès Marlair, for her part, obtained a special mention from the jury for her serigraphy work on porcelain.

In 2020, the event consecrating their recognition could not be scheduled due to the health crisis.

The present exhibition brings together the winners designated in 2020, Francine Delmotte, Prix des Métiers d’Art for her research around glass and Candice De Rijcke, to whom the jury awarded a mention for her line of contemporary jewellery.
