Ready to Tear/Pret a Papier, a bilingual exhibition about the history of the use of paper in fashion launched in Montreal at Musee de Marcil. Disposable paper dresses were a mad fad in the mid 1960s and it seemed like a great idea for the space age, after all, who is going to do laundry in space? However, the history of paper fashions goes back much further.
