Rejina Pyo: Structural Mode
In the autumn of 2012,Rejina Pyo, winner of the Han Nefkens Fashion Award 2012, presented her work in Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. From 29 September Pyo’s collection ‘Structural Mode’ was on view in the Willem van der Vorm gallery and in the Richard Serra Room.
A special jury – Viktor & Rolf, Penny Martin, Han Nefkens and José Teunissen – selected Pyo as the winner. The prize consisted of an autumn presentation in Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in 2012 and prize money of 25,000 Euro, of which 15,000 Euro is intended as a commission for the exhibition. This biennal prize was this year aimed at fashion designers in non-Western and lesser known European countries.
