This exhibition presented the most dazzling costumes from the film, Moulin Rouge, together with stunning behind-the-scenes photographs by Sue Adler.

Director Baz Luhrmann and his creative team have produced one of the most elaborate films ever made in Australia. This exhibition illustrated the extraordinary creativity, craftsmanship and technical wizardry involved in making Moulin Rouge. On display were 25 costumes from the film, including spectacular gowns worn by Nicole Kidman, alongside design sketches, props and a replica of the extraordinary diamond necklace made by Stefano Canturi. An exclusive audio-visual presentation produced by stills photographer Sue Adler and sound recordist Sondra Clarke let you see and hear the action behind the scenes.
