‘Installing Allusions’ was conceived in homage to the curator Harald Szeeman’s exhibition ‘A-historical Sounds,’ held at the Boijmans Van Beuningen in 1988. Co-curated with José Teunissen, the exhibition was organised around five focal points represented by five new commissions by Naomi Filmer, Anna-Nicole Ziesche, Walter Van Beirendonck, Hussein Chalayan, and Viktor & Rolf.
