A major exhibition exploring the cultural politics and sensory experience of the colour pink—its associations with femininity, queerness, decoration, kitsch, camp, and political symbolism. Displayed across the entire ground floor, the show features contemporary art, design, Australian modernism, decorative arts from the 18th–20th centuries, and feminist & queer agitprop works. Highlights include pieces from the Gallery collection, loans from the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, and works by eight invited artists. The show was accompanied by a fully illustrated catalogue with a 6,000‑word scholarly essay.
