Announcing Vivienne Westwood & Jewellery, a major retrospective exhibition created by Vivienne Westwood Ltd in partnership with Nomad Exhibitions.

Dame Vivienne Westwood (1941–2022) is one of the most influential fashion designers of the past half-century and jewellery has played an integral role in defining the Vivienne Westwood look. This retrospective exhibition will explore the design codes and subversive spirit of the British design house through this prism.

For the first time special archive and runway pieces, from across four decades, have been curated and displayed as a collection. Vivienne Westwood & Jewellery will offer visitors the chance to experience the extensive history of jewellery design and creation. Over 550 jewellery pieces and a selection of garments will be presented as an ‘objet d’art’ surrounded by an immersive ‘chaos’ of catwalk looks, imagery, video and sound, recalling iconic past collections and runway shows, offering a unique perspective into the Vivienne Westwood world.

Launching in January 2025 at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, Wellington, Vivienne Westwood & Jewellery will then embark on an international tour across Asia, the USA, and Europe. Stay tuned for upcoming dates and locations.
