In 1966, Yves Saint Laurent designed his first tuxedo and continued to create different versions of it up until 2002. In that time, the tuxedo has come to symbolize female liberation. This exhibition presented the long history of this garment in a space created to resemble a giant chess game, expressing the notions of strategy and the struggle for power with which it was synonymous.
