A critical study of a great fashion designer (born 1899). The exhibition analyzes the work of one of the most important and uncompromising fashion designers of the 20th century. Madame Gres is the last surviving designer of the women — Chanel, Vionnet, and Gres — who radically altered fashion in the 1920s and 1930s seeking timeless design.
